 We've always had a love/hate relationship with the Bentley Continental GT. On the one hand, it's a staggeringly powerful freight train of a car that will do everything but powder your behind (and not catch on fire). On the other hand, it just doesn't have the character of a Bentley; it seems more noveau riche than old-world land-rocket. What better way to address that issue than for ASI Tetsu to add gaudy gold paint, flowery hood graphics, a big spoiler on the trunk and a body kit? Oh and another 248 HP for a grand total of 800. Damn you fates, why must you make this Bentley such a poisoned pill?

 There's no good excuse for this customized Toyota Prius muddying up the floor at SEMA, and we couldn't love hating it more. Why the engine-turned light covers? The scissor doors? The triple-blade-razor inspired hood? We're not even going to get going on the paint job choice, interior fit-and-finish and those glorious wheels. Get that new Toyota Prius out ASAP — it can't possibly look this bad when it goes under the knife. We're experiencing a serious case of schadenSEMA with this one.

 British artist Alan Aldridge has created a one-off Mini Aldridge Special as part of a display of his work at the Design Museum in London. You may recognize Aldridge's work from a variety of book and album covers from the 1960s and '70s or simply from experimenting with such drugs as LSD and psilocybin. The new psychedelic Mini is said to be an "updated interpretation" of a famous 1965 Sunday Times cover featuring an original Mini done up in the artist's unique style, but in reality, it's a brilliant marketing move by Mini to link the new car with the old in ways even the retro styling can't accomplish.  No jokes here, Volvo is actually offering 20 special films that you can adorn your C30 with. We guess this is for people who think the Volvo C30 R-Design is too tough? Starting next week you can make your C30 a woodie, or a cheetah or camouflage it in cloud cover. If your job is to be the official pace car for the Gay Olympics you can always go with the rainbow-colored one. Currently, the service is only offered in Sweden. Don't be sad, it ain't cheap.

 Those pictures we showed you of the Agent Provocateur Mini Clubman merely suggested naughtiness with their stocking-themed paint job and expressions like "You're Going Down." At the "Life Ball" event this weekend, which raises money for AIDS-related causes, the Mini Clubman was on hand and things went from the suggestion of naughtiness to the real deal. In the gallery immediately below there are an assortment of press shots of the car and live shots of the reveal. Below the jump are the not-quite-safe-for-work press shots.
