  • Sovnger - Blake, What I like

Forgettable, loud and obnoxious techno noise but with a cool and crazy video shot in the subway system of Paris, France. Featuring a fast moving and insanely fun relay race, the camera has such an incredibly fast framerate that the fluorescent lights can be seen to be flickering, which would otherwise be imperceptible to the naked eye because of their incredibly high frequency. Ridiculously Awesom... Read More

Karin and Olof, the brother-sister duo who are The Knife, saw their first two albums do well in their Swedish homeland; their third, Silent Shout, went to Number One, won six Swedish Grammys, underlined their reputation as an act capable of the truly extraordinary and was pronounced the best record of 2006 by Pitchfork.

Fever Ray - Tracklisting Index

fever-ray-when-i-grow-old-2When I Grow Up was directed by self proclaimed "Director of Different Things" Martin de Thurah who explains "That initial idea was something about something coming out of water - something which was about to take form - a state turning into something new. And a double headed creature not deciding which where to turn. But the idea had to take a simpler form, to let the song grow by itself. I remembered a photo I took in Croatia two years ago, a swimming pool with its shining blue color in a grey foggy autumn landscape."
