bling-kiniSelfridges has launched the sale of a £2,000 ($3,000) bikini, which is encrusted with more than 5,000 brightly coloured Swarovski crystals, ruby, sapphire, emerald and gold. A waiting list has apparently already mounted up for this piece of beachwear. Dubbed the ”bling-kini”, the lavish swimming costume rings in at an eye-watering 100 pounds per square centimetre and having been modelled on the catwalks, it is set to be this season's must-have on the beach.

The lavish bikini “The Anita” was created by Pistol Panties, and the two piece ties at the neck whilst it is joined from the bust to its base by beaded gold rope. It will go on sale at Selfridges and the store says it already has waiting lists in place for buyers clamoring to pick up the limited edition design.
